GENERAL ODONTOLOGY

Odontology is the science that deals with everything related to oral and dental health – from the most basic (higiene, prevention, eating habits etc) to the most complex and specialised treatment (endodontics, perodontitis, implants, maxilo-facial surgery, orthodontics, circulation problems, temporomandibular ATM and other such afflictions).

That such a wide range exists allows one to presume that nobody can be an expert in all of the subjects. Realising this, we at SOL-DENTAL have united a group of specialists with proven ability and experience. However, this was not enough to achieve our aim. We had to insure that we all acted as one and we have achieved this in a way rarely seen in other clinics. In SOL-DENTAL every option is scrutinised; the Doctor in charge would not hesitate to pass on a patient to another Doctor if he or she believed the other´s experience would benefit the patient more.

The whole medical team meet as often as is needed to study especially complex cases or those in which a number of options are available. In these meetings an arbitrary commission is established formed by: the doctors in charge of the case, the clinic director and all the professional personnel that may shed light on the case (lab technicians, prosthesis experts, fellow professionals who might have had similar cases etc).This commission decides the best form of treatment or treatments and if there is more than one option, the commission, that is SOL-DENTAL, will recommend the least invasive and aggressive for the patient, even if that means simpler and cheaper methods (that is those that would be less financially advisable for the clinic). This is because we do not only want the best treatment for each case, we want to care for your oral-dental health and above all we want you to trust us for many years. "You are our best advertising."
